Local Church Leadership

Bachelor of Biblical Studies in Local Church Leadership

The Local Church Leadership degree program is open to men and women age 25 or older who meet normal qualifications for enrollment. This program is available to be completed in a fully online format, with an instructional design conducive to adult learners. Students are taught the biblical purpose and function of a New Testament church and learn how to engage our lost world with the Word of God and the gospel.

  • Complete the online application 
  • Give a personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour 
  • Submit a personal recommendation from their current pastor 
  • Hold a high school or GED equivalency diploma  
  • Request an official high school or GED equivalency diploma OR an official college transcript be sent to the Office of the Registrar for evaluation and approval prior to admittance 

Students who complete the B.B.S. in Local Church Leadership will be able to:

  • Employ proper methods of evangelism and discipleship through local church ministries
  • Discern truth from error by evaluating teachings and trends in light of the doctrine of God’s Word
  • Prepare and teach or preach Bible messages using proper methods of interpretation, presentation, and application
  • Study anytime, anywhere
