Student Records Policy
The Crown College of the Bible maintains appropriate educational records for each student and assures the confidentiality of such records in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974. Student records are confidential and will be released to persons outside the college only upon the written request of the student. Items considered directory-type information are generally considered open to public inquiry. The Office of the Registrar maintains a list of those facts considered directory-type information.
How to Request a Transcript
Federal law requires that a student request the release of his transcript in writing. No exceptions can be made. Request forms are also available in the Registrar’s Office. E-mail requests cannot be accepted.

A transcript request cannot be processed if there is a financial hold on your account. No transcript will be issued until a student’s financial obligations to the College are fully current and the transcript fee has been paid. Please contact the Finance Office directly for information concerning your account. After 30 days, a transcript request will expire and must be re-submitted. Please allow one week for processing of a transcript after the request has been received.
The fee for an official transcript is $10. We accept cash, debit/credit card, or a personal check made payable to The Crown College of the Bible. Debit/credit card payments must be made through the Finance Office. A separate transcript request must be completed for each official transcript mailed or delivered to a different recipient.
A student may request a copy of their unofficial transcript at no charge. Student copies are not official and will not bear the college seal or the signature of the college registrar. Student copies must also be requested in writing.
Enrollment verification can be obtained from the Office of the Registrar. You may call 865.938.8186, come to the office in person or e-mail [email protected] to request enrollment verification. Please supply the student name, social security number, semester(s) needed for verification and the address or fax number to which we should send the verification. If applicable, please also reference any policy information we may need to include as identification to your insurance company. We will process your request as quickly as possible; however, we ask that you provide 48 hours notice.
